At Purvers International Crate and Casemaking we
manufacture tailor-made shipping cases and air
freight cases for out-of-gauge cargo, abnormal loads and fragile or valuable goods. Design and assembly
of your cases and packing can be carried out at your
own premises or site, or at our own in house case
making / packing facility.
The design and manufacturing process is supported
by our comprehensive quoting and design service,
providing all the information required for the safe,
legal and secure packaging and shipping of all types
of goods.
 You give us the sizes and we will design your
case or crate for you.
These can include :

We have many years of experience in the field of crate and case making.
Our workshop (shown right) was purpose built in 2000 and is equipped to high standards required by the Health and Safety Executive.
There are so many options available for your packing and case making needs. All of the timber used in our cases is smooth prepared timber (treated and certified to ISPM15), and any plywood used is smooth faced. This makes handling safer (no splinters!) and the cases look good too.
We never forget that the first thing the customer sees when the delivery is made, is the case or crate and first impressions are important! Some of the options available to you are; open boarded crates (as shown below), Close boarded or lightweight plywood and batten cases.
Crates or cases can be supplied flat packed (known as 'shook'), partly assembled with fixings supplied to finish closing the item, or we can pack the crate or case for you! Then there are Airtight / Vacuum packed foil bags, Silica gel desiccant, foam lining, Internal bracing or partitioning.
Cases can be nailed or screwed (for re use), they can have hinged sides or lids. We can also supply 'Tip N Tell', ' Drop N tell', or 'Shock-watch' / 'Tilt-watch' indicators, so you can be sure your goods have been correctly handled by the carrier! |
